Refunds & Returns Policy
At Kunal Trehan® Casa Maison Home, we believe in getting things right, especially when something goes wrong. This client-first philosophy is central to everything we do, and it’s one of the many reasons clients trust us to deliver excellence.
This policy is here to give you peace of mind, ensuring that any issues are handled swiftly, without unnecessary forms or frustration.
Returns for Standard (Non-Custom) Products
We offer a 14-day returns policy on all eligible non-custom, non-“Special Order” items.
Conditions for Return
To be eligible for a return and refund:
- Items must be returned within 14 days
- Items must be in their original packaging (both inner and outer), and in resaleable condition.
- Returns must be initiated within 14 days of delivery.
- Items must be unused, undamaged, and uninstalled.
Returns that do not meet these conditions may be declined or subject to a restocking fee.
We strongly recommend using a tracked, insured courier service, as we cannot accept responsibility for items lost or damaged during return transit. In accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015, unless an item is faulty or misdescribed, the cost and arrangement of the return is the customer’s responsibility.
If you would prefer us to arrange collection on your behalf, we are happy to do so. Please contact sayhello@kunal-trehan.com or call +44 (0)161 722 1983. The cost of this service will be deducted from your refund.
Once your return is received and inspected, your refund will be issued within 14 days via your original method of payment.
Custom, Bespoke & “Special Order” Items
As specialists in high-end, made-to-order design, the majority of our pieces are classified as “Special Order” and are non-refundable, unless:
The item arrives faulty or damaged, or
It does not match the specification agreed at time of order.
This applies to all bespoke furniture, wallcoverings, artwork, accessories, custom furnishings, and ex-display items.
Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 remain unaffected. However, these laws confirm that items made to your individual requirements are exempt from standard return terms.
Damages
Every item is carefully quality-checked before dispatch and delivered with a reputable courier to ensure it arrives in perfect condition.
In the unlikely event that something is damaged:
- Notify us within 48 hours of delivery at sayhello@kunal-trehan.com.
- Include your order number and clear images showing the damage from multiple angles.
If the outer packaging appears damaged, please make a note of this on the delivery paperwork before signing and photograph it before opening. The goods inside are often unaffected, but any visible damage must be reported to us immediately.
We will resolve all valid issues promptly and fairly.
Specification Issues or Faults
If a product is received faulty or does not match the agreed specification:
- Notify us within 48 hours of receipt.
